Darko Perić was born in Kladovo on 25 March 1977. He showed interest in the arts from a very young age. He first appeared on stage at the age of six, when a Cuban singer invited him to sing ́ ́Guantanamera ́ ́. That moment inspired him to perform in every school play. Perić was cast in his first major job in the Spanish series ́ ́Crematorio ́ ́ for Canal Plus in 2010. In 2015, he performed in ́ ́A Perfect day ́ ́ . In 2016, he was cast in the series ́ ́Mar de plastico ́ ́, produced by Atresmedia, in which he played Oso, a Ukrainian gangster and the main villain in the series.
His best known role is “Helsinki” in the crime thriller series ́ ́Casa de papel ́ ́ (2017–present). The series was acquired by Netflix, which helped to become one of the most watched shows in the world. Project won Award for “Best Drama” at the Emmy Awards in 2018.
Predrag “Miki” Manojlović, born 5 April 1950, is a Serbian actor, famous for his starring roles in some of the most important films of former Yugoslav cinema. Since the early 1990s, he successfully branched out into movies made outside the Balkans; he is currently active in productions all over Europe.
After his screen debut in 1970, young Predrag continued to appear in numerous films and TV dramas made in SFR Yugoslavia, some of which, like the 1975 TV series “Grlom u jagode” where he memorably played Miki Rubiroza, achieved cult status.
He is arguably best known for the role of the father in Emir Kusturica’s 1985 film “When Father Was Away on Business” and as a tragic opportunist in 1995’s “Underground” (also by Kusturica). He is known for his versatility which helped him make a strong impression both in starring and character roles, as well as dramas and comedies, with his small role in the 1992 hit comedy” Mi nismo anđeli” being an example of the latter. He played the role of Agostino Tassi in the 1997 film Artemisia and that of Miki in Irina Palm.
He played significant roles in Movie and Television in more than 100 titles. He is the winner of many prestigious international awards!
Born in 1966, he graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1992 in the class of professor Boro Drašković, with the role of Vladimir in Waiting for Godot. He has been a member of the ensemble of Serbian National Theatre Drama since 1995, as well as Director of Drama there in 2001/2002, and again from 2012 until today. He is a full time Professor at the Acting Department at Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He was born on 26 October 1952 in SR Serbia, FPR Yugoslavia (modern Serbia). Lazar Ristovski is a Serbian actor, director, producer and writer. He has appeared on stage about 4,000 times, and starred in over 40 films, TV series and TV dramas, mostly in lead roles.
He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Belgrade as an actor. In 1999 The White Suit an auteur film by Ristovski (director, writer, lead actor, and producer) was at the Cannes Film Festival in the Critics Week program. The White Suit was the Serbian entry for the 1999 Academy Awards. Lazar Ristovski is the sole owner of Zillion Film Company
In 2006, he made a small appearance in the James Bond film Casino Royale. He played Caruso in the 2004 movie King of Thieves. He starred as Đorđe in the award-winning 2009 film St. George Shoots the Dragon.
He most recently played Russian President-elect and former Army General Arkady Fedorov in Pierce Brosnan’s movie The November Man which came out in 2014. In 2016 he starred in and produced the film Train Driver’s Diary which was the Serbian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards. The film won three awards at the 2017 Prague Independent Film Festival – the Grand Prix, Best Actor (Lazar Ristovski), and Best Feature Film. Ristovski is the organizer of the Ravno Selo Film Festival which was held for the first time in June 2017. He is also the author of four books; Belo odelo (The White Suit), Kako sam dobio Oskara (How I Got an Oscar),Jednostavne priče (Simple Stories) and Ulična akademija (Street Academy).
Žarko Laušević was born on January 19, 1960 in Cetinje, Montenegro, Yugoslavia.
Žarko fell in love with theater and acting as an adolescent. He attended the theater section while he was attending the primary school. At the age of 16 he became the champion of Yugoslavia in the recitation of poetry. At 18, he already got his first role on television.
At age 22, he graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, in the class of professor Mina Dedic. In 1982, immediately after graduating from the University, he received the first major film role. At the same time he became an actor in the Yugoslav Drama Theater, where he played numerous roles of historical importance in the culture of Yugoslavia and other Balkan countries.
Well-known playwrights, theatrical figures, directors noticed the magnificent talent, courage, rebellious spirit, and it was him who entrusted the roles of the most significant figures of Serbian history, both in the theater and in the cinema. Žarko had a special talent, he knew how to convey emotions through his roles like no other. No doubt he was considered one of the most talented actors of his generation.
A wide audience fell in love with him from the first appearance on the big screens. His debut took place in the film “Run”, 1982. During the 1980s and 1990s, he received mainly leading roles in more than 25 films, 17 television shows and numerous theater productions throughout Yugoslavia. During this period he became one of the most popular theater and film actor in Yugoslavia. Although he was young, handsome and very charismatic, it was thescope of his dramatic skill that brought him fame in Yugoslavia and beyond.

Due to tragic circumstances, Žarko must to have made a long break in his career, from 1993 to 2015. Žarko wrote three books about his life. Not only because people adored him, but also because of the writing gift he possessed, the books he wrote were widely known and among the most widely readin the country. There were no differences among generations of readers, everyone read with great interest and waited for his books, which for many people were very instructive. He, as the hero of a tragic fate and an open heart, spoke freely about his personal tragedies and sufferings.
His return in 2015 on big screens was watched by enthusiastic millions auditory, movie with title name ” Stinky Fairytale”. The number of admirers showed that the audience truly missed him and that he is a Great name in Yugoslavan cinematography which cannot be forgotten!

Nevena Vukes was born on June 2, 1990 in Kragujevac, Serbia. She showed her love for acting as a girl, so she was part of a drama workshop in Kragujevac at the Elementary School, and later at the High School. In addition to acting, she also had interests in scouts and has been a part of the world scout organization since she was 10, with which she visited the beautiful forests and mountains of her country.
Nevena often jokes that she spent more sleepless nights under a tent than in hotels. As a young girl, during high school, she actively trained hip-hop dance, athletics and later swimming.
At the age of less than 18, Nevena left her hometown to study at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. From those years, to the present day, professional journeys in the world of acting begin.
As an acting student, in 2011 Nevena got her first leading role in the TV series “Lime Blossom in the Balkans”, which was broadcast on the national television in Serbia, RTS. Her first presentation to a wider audience resonated positively, and with that role Nevena’s active work in the world of film and television began.
Her youthful look with a mature look has become a recognizable stamp of this young actress.
Then began a series of film and television projects. In 2013 she got a film role outside the borders of her country for the first time in the Macedonian film “The piano Room”, and in 2014 he got a role in the Dutch film “The Sky above us” and in the short film “Mary’s episode” co-produced by Serbia and Canada, and film “Lafty and the man in black” co-production of Saudi Arabia and Serbia.
In 2014, Nevena also completed a master’s degree in acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. As her master’s thesis, she performed a project on the theme of the novel “The Little Prince” by A. Exiperi. For this project, in which 6 dancers, a live orchestra and two actors participated, Nevena is signing dramatization, directing and acting.
After the premiere of the play “Little Prince”, the renowned Children’s Theater “Bosko Buha” in Belgrade takes over this play and puts it on its official repertoire.In the same year, 2014, Nevena got the main role in the Croatian TV series “Vatre ivanjske”. On that occasion, she moved to Zagreb for a year. After the broadcast of this series, Nevena became a recognizable face in the entire Balkans.
In 2015, she founded the traveling theater “Teatar Vihor” to gather her generation in one place and open a space for theatrical creation of young people. With this traveling theater, she has covered over 60,000 km and 70 cities in 5 years, and last year, in 2019, the theater also performed in Australia.
Later, she acted in numerous film and television series, of which the drama series “We will be world champions” stands out, where she played the main role of a journalist alongside Rade Serbedzija and Zarko Radic. In 2017, Nevena married Croatian musician Marko Vukes and moved to Zagreb.
In 2020, in the earthquake that hit Croatia, Nevena and her husband Marko lost their home. In those days, Nevena instinctively took the camera in her hands and started filming everything that happened in those later days, thus starting the documentary series “Our New Beginning”, which she is filming with her husband Marko. this mini-documentary series resonated in the region, and many documentarians recognized it as a useful topic that moved many other people currently going through the same situation with a joyful spirit.
