With special joy and pride we want to share the news that the film “Discoboy” with the participation of one of our most important clients Leon Luchev was presented at the Berlinale 2023 Film Festival in February, where it received a silver bear in the Outstanding Artistic Contribution nomination.
The film tells how, after a painful journey through Europe, Alexei arrives in Paris to join the Foreign Legion. In the Niger Delta, Jomo fights oil companies that threaten his village and the lives of his family. One day, at the head of an armed group, he kidnaps French citizens….
For Leon Luchev, this is not the first international project, but the next step expanding his truly huge range of art-house and high-quality festival films, which are already included in the golden fund of European independent cinema.
